Love the new cd which came yesterday - the selections are perfect and the voice renders them all wonderfully. Love Bruce as lead singer for Runrig, but just as much in his solo albums - thanks for the music

Thank you for a wonderful concert in Aalborg, and especially for your way of dealing with the most disturbing elements in the audience, who were in the unshakeable disbelief that they were attending an open-air Runrig concert. You mastered a perfect balance there.

Beautiful. "My Old Man" really touches my deepest core. Both as a son and also as a father and grandfather. I feel it from all angles. Thanks so much.

Hi Bruce,

I'm still in awe of your ability to inspire your listeners to think about life and living. Friday night's performance at the Majestic was no exception ... you've been blessed with an amazing gift. This was the second time I've been fortunate enough to attend a live performance ...  the first years ago in Grand Falls - Windsor. I've followed your career ever since. Congratulations on Celtic Crossing. It's a great album, an excellent blend of traditional and original songs. You captivated everyone in the audience especially with My Old Man ... a beautiful tribute to your dad. I continue to be struck by your musical journey. It must also be wonderful to share the stage with Dylan ... your pride in his ability is evident and justified. He has an amazing voice, a  distinctive style and I look forward to adding his first cd to my collection. Of your albums my favorite is Beautiful Life. The lyrics, music (the piano really added a fantastic dimension!) and the whole production was of superior professional quality. It seemed to capture something special ...  your natural ability for Jazz/Blues. It's where your voice and songwriting shine brightest I believe. I love each and every song on Beautiful Life, especially Someone. Your insight into the human condition is incredible ... right up there with my other favourite songwriter, Leonard Cohen. Please come back to 'The Rock' again. We're barely a breath away. Best, Gwen

I L.O.V.E. Celtic Crossing !!!
In my opinion your best album so far.
Annoying marketing strategy though for fans outside Denmark.
But all efforts to get it are worth while :-)

Hi Bruce.
Got your new cd and been playing it all morning, and when I look out of my window, I get surprised by seeing I`m still in Denmark and not surrounded by impressive scottish mountains...:-)
It`s ecxellent music and especially Stans tune is so full of drums and rythms and celtic sound besides a good text. This is the sound that I for long have missed from Runrig and I hope you will continue this direction of music, wich is welcoming you home.
Looking much forward to hear you performing this great music live in Esbjerg!
A danish newspaper gave you five stars out of six, I give you six stars!
A big hug from Annette!

Hey Bruce.
I'm really a great fan of you. I have heard you a lot of times both you alone and together with the great band RUNRIG.
Your new album is exstreemly good. I like your combination with pipes, guitars and your good and kind voice.
I understand, that you have written most of the songs in memory of your mother. Many lovely memories makes a great man and musician. You are a great musician.
I am looking forward to see and hear you in Fermaten, Herning, Denmark at the 26.th of November. I am sure it would be a great night. See you.
Many regards from Sven Søby

Hi Bruce
I've had your wonderful new album for a fortnight now and I love listening to it more & more. The combination of the pipes & whistles with your voice is so perfectly balanced. My favourite song changes daily, but Through It All will always be something special I think

Dear Bruce
Into this dark and lonely heart
you shine a blazing light
I hear your warmly lilting voice
in the empty cold of night
You bring such magic to my life
that makes my spirit lift
I hope one day to take your hand
and thank you for that gift
And I’ll admit, I often wish
I could be more to you
than just a face in more crowd
you see on your way through
In sweetest dreams I see you smile
and reach to take my hand
I see us walking arm in arm
on golden sunlit sand
I know it’s nothing but a dream
I wish it could come true
but still I hope your heart can hear
my song of love for you.
In deep respekt and inspired from “Celtic Crossing”
Sincerely
Dana Cassandra Friis
