Dear Bruce
Hope you enjoyed your birthday so far from home. I had fantastic days in Tonder with great concerts especially the songwriter`s Circle on Sunday after a hard night at the "Cape Breton Kitchen Party" ;-))
Please keep your staying power and stay the way you are! With lots of love and best wishes from Germany

Hi Bruce,
Just wanted to say how much I've been enjoying listening to your music lately, a few tracks especially.
Unfortunatley I missed a lot of the Edinburgh castle RR gig as I got taken ill, but very much looking forwards to Barras / Scone.

Hi Bruce,
enjoy the "home break" with these nice venues you played and are going to play before 'hopping' over again - I'm so much looking forward to the Tonder "x-factor" to come!
And I guess you had a real great familial and familiar time at Harmony House ;-) - what a wonderful treasure that venue is, thumbs up to Melanie and Kris (did the hug arrive?)!
Take care,
Anne

Always a pleasure to get a break from the craziness and listen up to what you have to offer musically. Heart and soul, you've got something rare there, brother- and may the music you craft continue charting you a good course.
Later- Denny.

Hiya,
we had a great time in Nova Scotia as every year. This time more music, than ever...including: Men Of The Deeps, Barra MacNeils, JP Cormier, Rob MacLean, Buddy, Chuck Brodsky, Martyn Joseph and a kayak trip with Dave Gunning. Stanfest was a blast and we enjoyed your appearance with Dylan for sure. Nice meeting you again. See you in Manchester with Runrig!
Take care
Judy

AWESOME, the only word needed to describe the show in Edinburgh. Took me 8 hours to get there and another 8 to get back, but it was worth every bone-shaking minute.

hi Bruce

just to say what a fantastic night it was on the 26th july in Edinburgh. I cant wait for Scone next year, i also cant believe thats about 10 yea**ince you joined Runrig, personally speaking i think you have truly uplifted the spirit of the band as well as the members, your voice is amazing and fits well with most of the songs. keep up the good work. and take care

Hi, Bruce
Hope you are now safely back home. The gig at Edinburgh Castle was excellent and you showed once again what a true star you are!
I loved your impromptu rendition of The Parting Glass - wish we could have heard more of it - and I can't think of any other lead-singer who could/would have carried the situation like you did, with superb unaccompanied singing and great humour. (The other lads were very good too!)
Best wishes, Dolly

Hi Bruce, Was at Edinburgh Castle, as usual fantastic performance!!! But was wondering are you doing any solo tours in Scotland?? It would be nice to hear you doing your own stuff live. King Tuts and The Tron are nice and compact and have good sound. Also bigger venues like Oran Mor, Grand Ole Oprey would also be good. These venues are all based in Glasgow.
Roll on the 'Barrowlands'!!
