Hey Bruce, first time at Edinburgh Castle for a concert for me and quite frankly you were fantabulous! yet again you and the guys blew us away big style and you were looking fantastic.(sorry hope you don't mind me saying that) Can't wait to get Scone tickets.
Met Ian's sister at the portaloo and she so wants 2005 Christmas tour T-shirt!!We also met Kristian on the way out - hope he passed on our appreciation of Rory's hips!!!

Thank you very much for two marvellous concerts last week in Gelsenkirchen and Hamburg. It’s always fantastic and a great pleasure to see you and the other members from Runrig live on stage! And it was very exciting to sing "Book of golden stories" with the whole audience at the end of the shows!

Hi Bruce,
the Concert in Bonn was just fantastic! Everything was fitting together and wonderful: the weather, the atmosphere, and the mood of the band and the fans… My friends and me had had an exuberant, funny and unforgettable day. Thank you and Runrig!!! We liked especially your “flying” with spread arms on the stage, because while the other group was playing we were “flying” by ourself when we were gathering something to drink.:-)
Well, for some time I´m asking myself if you really like to drink champagne (ok, you can have a lot of fun whit this stuff, but drinking it??? How disgusting!!! J )The imagination to celebrate with something “normal” like a good wine or a beer is much more pleasant to me…
I wish you you a good and save trip home, and I hope that you and your band will be back in the Cologne/Bonn area as soon as possible.

Ps.: Unfortunately I needed until this week to find out if I can have some vacation by the end of**ust to come to Denmark. Now I have the time but unluckily there are no cards anymore for your performance. I´m very disappointed. Dear Bruce,just wanna tell you,i´m so glad, that i heard you first time on music deluxe. From this moment on, I was fascinated by your voice. Bought all your 3 CD`s can´t get enough, and get also your CD´s with Runrig. The DVD Day of Days is really brilliant, so I visit after your solo concert in January,the Runrig concert in Tollwood. Great experience. Super show,wonderful voice. I find it very exiting that you doing songwriting and also singing in a rockband. I like both of it. Especially the quiet songs touches me deep in my soul. So i´m waiting for your new cd unpatiently. God bless you and your family,and i hope you have always a good time.

Hi all,
what a welcoming of Bruce with Runrig again to Germany last night in Bonn - with his arms wide open and instantly captivating us, "as usual" ;-) - it never ceases to amaze me how with a little gesture of his hands Bruce drives us all nuts and gets the whole place into gear.
Even if Malcolm might not have been amused in his midi-pipe solo, the whole gig was a blast again - "as usual"- ;-).

After all these years I have been following the band on since 89 (incredibly long time), I still can't let lose and can't stop getting really pretty excited every time again I get to know the gig dates and can't keep myself from buying tickets for the shows and can't prevent myself from having to do at least 2 gigs during a tour - only God knows why!
But I really miss the "good old aftershow times" of the earlier years... ;-( -

Looking forward to another round to come on Friday!

Hey Bruce!Just drop in to tell you and others about a book I read: No Great Mischief of Alistair MacLeod.It is about the scotmans emigraition to Cape Breton in 1779, the story is about Calum "Ruadh" MacDonald and his family tall in returns uptil 1999.In my univers I hear Runrigs musik Rory and Calum sing gćlisk and seen the pictures on the scren from the concerts, when I read.It real give sense when you befor "The ocean road" said "When you come from ,where I come from there are a people whit deebly feeling and strong roots". I think the fate has been there when you been singer in Runrig and connect the story from past and future.The book fall in my hands and tell my what I alredy new, I must go for a trip to Cape Breton and meet that people.To all other read that fantastic book!!

Hey Bruce, Bruce... now why is it?? :-}
The sun is clearly shining, temperatures are in the twenties, it IS the first of July.

And I KNOW.. that Stan Fest and the Třnder Fest are coming very soon.. yipppiiee and from experience that intense sunshine and thunder showers can turn the queues into saunalike experiences - definitely summer!
[Britta - NO! it was not anticipation making us break into sweat there *lol*..didn't know back then, just yet..]
Now some fields may be looking handsomely golden and rich but the overall main impression is - plants are green and fresh, bluming and agrowing. No signs of slowing down.
Yet - when you are packing and leaving again, like this weekend, some part of my mind immediately goes: 'Winter! - prepare!' The ol' wreck my brain still recognizes when a good thing is going away.. cannot be dissuated: certain we are facing winter.. I have told him 20 times today already that you'll bring back spring in a month.. no need to worry about 'do we need new boots this winter..' just yet..
and I do not do not need to find a coat in order to step outside!

Oh I wonder are all Canadians this confusing, or have they just sent their worst??

Have a fun Canada Day - and another 141 years of no quakes, floods, riots, invasions or unpleasant things to you all :-) All things good only :-D
