Hi Bruce!

Thank you so much for sharing your incredible captivating talent, voice, stories, songs, wit and enthusiasm with us at the Tønder Festival last weekend.

You are truly a worthy ambassadur for Nova Scotia, making us all curious and wanting to visit your neck of the wood.

And I bet you had a memorable birthday - probably one of the longest in your whole life - accompanied by your true follower: Hankey Bannister :-)

Ses,
Kirsten

Hi Bruce,
thanks a lot for some wonderful gigs in Tondern.
Had a great time there with my friends and was able to see you there with your Danish band, with your guitar, at the Cape Breton kitchen party and with the Songwriters' Circle.
All gigs were completely different but every single one was absolutely fantastic.
The kitchen party was pure fun and the Circle full of brilliant musicians.
Enjoyed it so much.
I hope you had a fantastic birthday altough you had to work. Thanks for sharing it with us.
Also I hope you arrived back home again safe and sound to go on celebrating with the ones you love.
Looking forward to see and hear you anytime soon once again.
Best wishes from Germany
Andrea

Cheers, Bruce,

being still in thought at Tonder, I wish and hope you also arrived back home safe and sound and could finally be hugged and congratulated by all your beloved in real life, too, after having gone through that memorable Tonder "birthday marathon" :-)!

"Tusend tak" so much again for the GREATEST treat ever that you gave us all at Tonder - this festival is truly "the real stuff"!

And: Thumbs up for your working overtime-shift on and around your b'day ;-)! Not only did you sound the bell for it on Saturday soloing, it continued with the Cape Breton kitchen-party after midnight and then on to the Sunday SC-marathon and beyond till late that day for the "Tonder finale song" (never have I been at your b-day for so long and thanks for sharing all that time with us!!!) - A big hand to all the gorgeous other musicians during the festival, too, they often enough gave me the creeps!

What an emotional time that was, especially when you let us have a peak into your new songs; the more, I will always be fond of
those that didn't make it into your cds ("trailer park man", "kinda like that I do", "the parting glass", "roses") - anyway, it's high time for a dvd of yours, Bruce, and with all your stories!

Thanks for the hug and kind words when - sorry - having stumbled across you Sat night after the Gymnasium gig on our way to party on with you and the Cape Bretoners at the kitchen party :)

The x-factor was truly there again and Tonder will always be my favourite!

Take good care of yourself and "stay tuned", Bruce!
Anne

Btw: Next time I can lend you my bike ;-)!

Hi Bruce,
Just wanted to say how much I've been enjoying listening to your music lately, a few tracks especially.
Unfortunatley I missed a lot of the Edinburgh castle RR gig as I got taken ill, but very much looking forwards to Barras / Scone.

Hi Bruce,
enjoy the "home break" with these nice venues you played and are going to play before 'hopping' over again - I'm so much looking forward to the Tonder "x-factor" to come!
And I guess you had a real great familial and familiar time at Harmony House ;-) - what a wonderful treasure that venue is, thumbs up to Melanie and Kris (did the hug arrive?)!
Take care,
Anne

Always a pleasure to get a break from the craziness and listen up to what you have to offer musically. Heart and soul, you've got something rare there, brother- and may the music you craft continue charting you a good course.
Later- Denny.

Hiya,
we had a great time in Nova Scotia as every year. This time more music, than ever...including: Men Of The Deeps, Barra MacNeils, JP Cormier, Rob MacLean, Buddy, Chuck Brodsky, Martyn Joseph and a kayak trip with Dave Gunning. Stanfest was a blast and we enjoyed your appearance with Dylan for sure. Nice meeting you again. See you in Manchester with Runrig!
Take care
